Hello Boardroom. Thanks to support from AGD, @Boardroom_info has integrated Aave into their governance platform 🥳 The new integration allows users to explore key governance metrics, vote or delegate their voting power, and learn about the governance process.

For more performance metrics, Aave's own @A_BertoG drops a weekly breakdown of protocol performance on the governance forum, and Omni Analytics maintains a detailed Dune Dashboard for Aave.

Audit underway. (3, 3) 🤝 Aave. Following up the Water cooler 🆒 story from the July 5th Aave News, the Ohmies have arrived! With OIP-13 passing, $1 million DAI from the OlympusDAO treasury is now actively earning interest thanks to Aave. How long until aTokens become the standard for treasury management across DeFi?

Meme for money. The Aave Meme Contest is now live. Each week there is a new theme and the top three memes are awarded a total of $850. Follow @AAVEMemes to be the first to know the theme and to see the winners for each week.

LM update. As promised on the last community call, @anjan_vinod from ParaFi shared an ARC to extend AAVE liquidity mining (LM) rewards. Rewards are currently set to end July 25th and this proposal would start a V2 of the LM program. The proposal keeps the same distribution and extends rewards to LINK. Read the full proposal which includes a recap of the current LM program and outlines what a new version would look like. Read the full post and and vote on the governance forum. The vote ends ~3 days from the time this Aave News is published.

Dynamic risk. @gauntletnetwork followed up their Market Risk Assessment from April with a new proposal outlining how they could support Dynamic Risk Parameters for Aave. The goal is for "continuous market risk management to optimize yield, capital efficiency, and mitigate depositor losses". The full post, which has received support from Pantera, outlines the scope of their proposal, expectations, a risk dashboard that would be built, and associated costs.

FEI on deck. @joey__santoro, founder of Fei Protocol, is asking the Aave community to delegate their votes to him in order to have an on-chain vote to add FEI as a lending currency. This is after an ARC to add FEI as a lending currency received initial support from the community. If Joey receives the necessary votes, look for a new AIP on the governance portal soon.

Lending gang. @CamiRusso hosted a panel of heavy weights from the lending and borrowing space including Stani, @RuneKek from Maker, @cjliu49 from Compound, and @leokcheng from Cream. There is great back and forth among the panelists as they cover a range of topics including the differences between each protocol, tradeoffs from the different designs, and why a user would use one over another.

Stani breaks down the features that will be included in the new version of Aave. Stani stressed that this update is risk focused - listen for how 'exposure caps' will enable the protocol to list a wider variety of assets. After this update the Aave team will work on something that is more flashy. In fact, this will be the last development from the Aave team on the core protocol, as the rest will be done by Aave Developers DAO - Applications are still open 🥳
