We're excited to announce that Aave Grants DAO passed a community vote with unanimous support. We can now launch the program and start providing grants to projects, ideas, and people who make Aave better. Our goal is to build and support an active ecosystem of contributors around Aave.
We know most grants programs are a tedious experience for applicants: you're asked for too much information and documentation, the interviews are slow and unfair, and when all is said and done, you probably wish you never applied in the first place.
We designed this grants program to be as fast and easy for applicants as possible. The faster we can fund your ideas, the faster you can get to work on improving Aave. And that's exactly what we want to achieve.
There are two ways to apply for a grant.
- Rapid Grants (<$100k): submit your application at aavegrants.org. If it makes sense, we will schedule a call to chat about your application and get back to you with a decision.
- Community Grants ($100k-$500k): submit your application at aavegrants.org. If it makes sense, we will recommend you post a proposal in Aave's community forum. After incorporating community feedback, we will get back to you with a decision.
- Grants >$500k: directly post a proposal in Aave's community forum. Approving grants over $500k is not within Aave Grants DAO's mandate, however, we are happy to provide feedback if you contact us at aavegrants@gmail.com.
