State of the protocol 📰

Aavelanche. Aave has launched on Avalanche along with $20 million of AVAX in liquidity incentives for Aave users. This is the start of Aave's cross chain ambitions, with Solana possibly being next.

Ecosystem 🧉

Aave Mobile. 206 addresses representing 15.24k AAVE voted unanimously in support of Aave Grants providing a $98k grant to 2001DeFi to build out a mobile application for Aave. The Snapshot vote is a temperature check to gauge support for larger sized grants. Catch up with the discussion and share your thoughts.

Governance ⚖️

AIP-32 and AIP-31. Proposals to extend liquidity mining and to add DPI on Aave V2, each respectively passed Aave governance. Emissions for liquidity mining are reduced by 9% and more assets including LINK, YFI, xSUSHI, UNI, MKR, and BAL have been added.

Update AMPL interest rate curve to account for over-approximation in compounded interest | the discussion includes rationale for updating the interest rate curve and previously raise concerns.

Add support for $FEI as a deposit currency
Proposal to add support for renBTC
Provide better oracle mechanism for correlated assets

DPI. With the passing of AIP-31, DPI has been added to Aave V2 🥳
